and motion sickness :(
I do have a bit of allergy and sinus right now, how can I prep my body for this flight?
Chewing gum during takeoff and landing should help your ears pop, which relieves the pressure and should keep them from hurting.
It's a good idea to skip alcohol and salty foods during the flight and drink lots of water. It should help with water retention / swelling, and should also help with jetlag (if you're changing time-zones).
Motion sickness: I've never experienced this on a plane, but I've used Dramamine when traveling on water.
For what it's worth, I recently had my own marathon flight (16 hours). I purposely stayed up all of the night before my flight. I was so tired that I slept through the majority of the flight ... it made the time pass faster, I slept soundly, and I had no jetlag at my destination.
Best of luck!
I think that you'll be fine. Don't worry about anything now. My trips were 18 hours and they were not bad.
Have a great trip.
also make sure you walk around on the flight a bit to avoid blood clots or just stiff legs :)
