Rock of Love: the Lament of Legz

Rock of Love contestant Magdalena is not particularly happy about her stint on the show. At the end of the reality television show s sixth episode, rock star Bret Michaels chose not to fork out a backstage pass for her, which meant the end of her stay and her removal from the competition. As she reflected on her experiences throughout the series, Magdalena, a.k.a. Legz, said that she felt disappointed and believed she didn t gain much from it at all. She also said that she thought she would have had a much more positive experience and gotten more from a different VH1 reality series instead.
She has specifically stated that she would have enjoyed being on a show like Charm School instead, rather than having to contend and compete with a flock of women for Michaels affection. In an interview, she seemed convinced that she would have benefited and learned more from that show, and would have taken pleasure in being shown how to get the right man. But on the brighter side, she said that being on Rock of Love gave her the chance to meet other women whom she still keeps in touch with. Among these friends are Brandi M., Jes, Erin, and Samantha.
One main thing that she says the show made her realize is that she was relatively a normal girl, compared to some of the others that she met, in terms of attitude. Magdalena said she had believed herself to be super crazy, though she changed her mind after observing the other women, and found her own behavior comparatively sane. She said that it even made her feel better about herself. She is originally a native of Poland, though she moved to the United States in 2000. But even after more than half a decade of living in America, she still struggles with the English language.
